Adding and Removing Accounts

Here are instructions for adding and removing connected accounts from MoneyCEO, both on the web browser and via the mobile app.

How to Connect an Account From the Web:

MoneyCEO can be accessed from the mobile app and the web. To access MoneyCEO from the web, type this URL into any browser and log in as you normally would.

  1. Log in to MoneyCEO

  2. On the Home Tab, click the Add Account dropdown

    1. Select Connect To Account or Add Account Manually

      Connect To Account:

    2. MoneyCEO uses Plaid (Plaid is a tech company that helps connect your bank account to apps without sharing your login info. It works in the background to safely send your banking data to apps like budgeting tools or payment services.)

      1. Put in your phone number. You will receive a code via text to seamlessly connect to your financial institutions.

      2. Choose from a saved institution or connect to a new one

      If connecting to a new one, you can search to see if it is available:

      Add Account Manually:

    3. Click Add Account Manually from the Add Account Dropdown

    4. Select if this will be a Bank account or a Credit Card, enter in all the fields, then click save.

How to Remove a Connected Account From the Web:

  1. Log in to MoneyCEO

  2. Click the Profile Icon (top-right corner) to open settings

  3. Click Remove Account, then click the Remove Account button next to any accounts you want removed.

  4. Confirm removal by clicking the button in the pop-up "Yes, remove this Account."

How to Connect an Account From the Mobile App:
